- Log in to Your WordPress Dashboard: Go to your WordPress website’s admin area. Typically, you can access it by adding
/wp-adminto your site’s URL and then logging in with your credentials. - Navigate to WooCommerce Products Section: Once logged in, navigate to the “Products” section in your WordPress dashboard. You can find it on the left-hand side menu.
- Add New Product: Click on the “Add Product” button at the top of the page to create a new product.
- Enter Product Details:
- Product Title: Enter the name of your product.
- Product Description: Add a detailed description of the product. This should include features, specifications, and any other relevant information.
- Product Categories and Tags: Assign categories and tags to help organize and classify your products.
- Product Images: Add images of your product. You can upload multiple images to showcase different angles or variations.
- Product Data: Set the product type (simple, variable, grouped, etc.), price, inventory details, shipping settings, and more. This section may vary depending on the type of product you’re adding.
- Set Product Attributes (if applicable): If your product has different variations such as size, color, etc., you can set attributes and variations in the “Attributes” tab. For example, if you’re selling a t-shirt, you can set attributes for size (small, medium, large) and color (red, blue, green).
- Publish or Save Draft: Once you’ve entered all the necessary information, you can choose to publish the product immediately or save it as a draft for later editing.
