Customize Query Loop

To customize a dynamic query loop you can follow these general steps:

  • Identify the Query Loop Block: In the editing page, locate the Query Loop block. This block dynamically fetches and displays posts based on specified parameters.
  • Customize Query Parameters: Within the Query Loop block settings, you can customize various parameters such as post type, taxonomy, post status, number of posts to display, sorting criteria, and more. Adjust these parameters according to your requirements to filter and display the desired content.
  • Design the List Layout: Customize the layout of the list where the queried posts will be displayed. You can use various blocks such as Paragraph, Heading, Image, or any other relevant blocks to design the layout.
  • Insert Dynamic Content: Use appropriate blocks within the list layout to insert dynamic content from the query loop. This typically involves using blocks like Post Title, Post Content, Post Excerpt, Post Date, Post Author, etc., to display content from the queried posts dynamically.
  • Apply Styling: Apply styling to the list and its elements using the FSE theme’s styling options or custom CSS to ensure the design matches your website’s overall aesthetic.
  • Preview and Save: Preview the changes to ensure they appear as expected. Once satisfied, save the changes to make them live on your website.
